It's going to take a moment for him to grab the stuff - a littl roll of supplies, knife included. There's a few clean towels on the table already and it's a small miracle Bourbon hasn't nested in them already but that was mostly what the fish was for. She'll probably end up getting bribed with some of the stew too, at some point.
