Caro slides into a chair. She watches Sullivan puttering around grabbing supplies, and then she leans to the side a little to watch the cat. She has a sudden moment of not knowing what to do with her hands, so she folds them in her lap.
Apparently eye contact is enough to lure the cat over. Caro reaches down and tentatively picks it up and sets it in her lap. "You know, I don't think I ever asked the cat's name. How rude of me." The last is directed down at the kitten, who seems pleased with the change of venue. Well, and the petting.
