"Her name's Bourbon." Walter answers over his shoulder, likely to no surprise at all. He'd say he's terrible at naming things but he's never actually had anything to name before. It's at least better than Sawdust or Cabbages, he thinks.
The assorted supplies get laid out on the table next to her. He pulls up a chair to sit basically in front of her for the moment, at least until he starts the actual cutting. "Cat's gonna have to go." He nods at the small purring fluff ball on her lap before tossing a towel damp with something antiseptic-smelling towards her. "Wipe your face then hands down with that."
Bourbon will just have to deal with not helping and/or getting covered in blood here.
