Walter's actually up and about slightly early for him. Of course, 'slightly early' means early afternoon. Of course this means he has to deal with calming Bourbon the fuck down and feeding her so he can actually get his shit together and leave the house and do what it is he's actually specifically woken up early to do.
Once Bourbon's busy messily inhaling her food, Walter gets about cleaning the now-empty stew jars. He spends considerably less time cleaning himself up, but that's to be expected of him. He always looks vaguely like he slept on the floor no matter what.
It's neither luck nor coincidence that Caro and Weyoun have already left to do... whatever it is they do by the time Walter steps foot out of his house. He doesn't really want to deal with them today, especially not with Weyoun, so takes care to avoid them. Honestly, any and all human interaction sounds like a terrible idea today, but especially with those two.
It's not much of a walk over to Caro's house but he isn't really in any kind of rush. It's silent and still in the Victor's Village, like it always is; it feels like something of a ghost town to Walter most days. He doesn't so much live in the Victor's Village as quietly haunt it.
He peers carefully in Caro's window for a moment before deciding that, yes, it is vacant. The jars get set down carefully by her door, where they'll be neither knocked over and broken or go unnoticed. That's good enough, right? Right.

Date: 2013-07-27 01:38 am (UTC)Caro might have a problem.
They make their way back into the Victors' Village when she spots him. Walter's over in the general vicinity of her house. She has no idea what he's doing there, but she doesn't really care. Caro whips around to look at Weyoun.
"Stay here, okay?" she asks Weyoun. Asks? It's not really phrased as a request. She takes off at a near-jog before he can answer either way.

Date: 2013-07-27 01:49 am (UTC)Caro's reaction surprises him a bit, but he isn't about to argue this with her. He nods though she doesn't catch it and commences trying to see what it is from a distance.

Date: 2013-07-27 02:15 am (UTC)Oh, goddamnit. Why can't he just leave the jars and go back to his seclusion without actually having to deal with this?
He hesitates for a moment, debating just keeping moving to back to his house. It's when Caro takes off towards him at a near-jog that he decides, fine. This isn't going to go away on it's own. Might as well deal with it now, even if he doesn't really appreciate Weyoun lurking in the distance. So he just... crosses his arms over his chest and waits for Caro.

Date: 2013-07-27 02:42 am (UTC)"Hey, sweetheart," Is his curt reply. "Just returning your jars."

Date: 2013-07-27 02:50 am (UTC)Ugh Weyoun go away. This is really awkward. Caro fidgets a little.
"Um, can we maybe talk without the audience?" She'd like to figure out what's going on without Weyoun lurking around smugly.

Date: 2013-07-27 02:58 am (UTC)Walter inhales slowly for a moment, keeping most of his thoughts out of his expression as best he can - that mostly just translates to his jaw being set in a particularly hard line. He'd rather not, honestly. He wants to just awkwardly escape back to his house but that's not in the cards. Eventually, he gives. "Yeah, alright."
At least he won't have to deal with Weyoun being right there.

Date: 2013-07-27 03:03 am (UTC)She turns and makes a shooing gesture at Weyoun. Go away please. Farther away.
"Uh, come on in then I guess," she says, turning back to Walter. She almost drops one of the damn jars when she picks them up, but she gets the door unlocked and open without further idiocy on her part.

Date: 2013-07-27 03:13 am (UTC)He quietly follows her inside and gets the door behind them. Her house isn't all that different from his.... well, at least the layout and the framework of it. His is old and in enough disrepair that it looks abandoned and haunted, and cluttered from 20 years of him living in it. Hers looks more like an actual house inhabited by something other than an alcoholic ghost.
"So." He kind of looks at this like ripping off a bandage. The quicker it's over, the better.

Date: 2013-07-27 03:17 am (UTC)"Sorry I haven't been by," she says as she turns back to Walter. "Weyoun keeps dragging me off to go do things."

Date: 2013-07-27 03:27 am (UTC)He settles against the nearby entryway table... thing, shaking his head. "Don't worry about it."

Date: 2013-07-27 03:39 am (UTC)"But..." She trails off awkwardly and looks at her feet. She was expecting him to be grumpy about it, not... whatever this is.
no subject
Date: 2013-07-27 03:47 am (UTC)He eyes Caro for a moment while she stares down at her feet. He can't really deal with standing around here awkwardly forever, so... "Just spit it out already, sweetheart."
no subject
Date: 2013-07-27 03:51 am (UTC)"Okay, I know I didn't come by for a couple days, but I'm not sure why you're this mad about it." She's a little annoyed about this, honestly. It's just mostly buried under confusion and general feeling bad. She resists the urge to scratch at her face.

Date: 2013-07-27 04:15 am (UTC)"I... ugh." She's torn between what she'd actually like to do, and what's probably the better thing to do. She tamps down her suddenly appearing bout of nerves and decides what the hell. It worked out last time.
She closes the gap between them and hugs him.

Date: 2013-07-27 04:37 am (UTC)"What are you even doing," He grumbles quietly but doesn't really make any attempt to get away for the moment. Instead, he rests his arms on her shoulders and sighs. He doesn't know what the fuck he's doing.
no subject
Date: 2013-07-27 04:46 am (UTC)"What are you talking about?" She should probably at least make eye contact for that, but that would interfere with her leaning into him. She also doesn't quite have the nerve to look him in the eye right now, which irritates her. Caro is increasingly fed up with herself lately.

Date: 2013-07-27 05:30 am (UTC)He wraps his arms around her tightly and hides his face in her hair, squeezing his eyes shut. Goddamnit. Goddamnit. "I'm a fucking idiot, nevermind."
no subject
Date: 2013-07-27 05:53 am (UTC)Well at least she can take the opportunity to slide her arms up around his neck, now that she isn't worried about potentially having to keep hold of him. She'd been quietly afraid he was going to awkward away.

Date: 2013-07-27 06:16 am (UTC)Alright, so it's not really nothing. It's a big something but he feels like a complete dipshit at the moment and would rather not explain all the ways in which he actually is one. That and, really, it shouldn't have bothered him as much as it did. Admitting what it was and that it did means admitting a whole hell of a lot of things that he can't even begin to deal with right now.

Date: 2013-07-27 06:29 am (UTC)After a moment she adds, "Now what the hell do we do about Weyoun? It took me three days to ditch him the first time." The fact that three days is apparently way too long is kind of pathetic, Caro thinks. She is really fed up with herself.

Date: 2013-07-27 06:48 am (UTC)"Well, I could start by finding a shovel..." He trails off, leaning over and kissing the scars on her cheek. He's kidding. ...He's mostly kidding. Truth is, he doesn't know what to do about Weyoun, either.
no subject
Date: 2013-07-27 07:04 am (UTC)It's difficult not to make some sort of stupid squeaky noise when Walter kisses the scars on her face, but Caro manages. Barely. She idly plays with his hair in retaliation. And then nearly chokes when she suddenly wonders if scar kissing is going to be some sort of trend.
It hasn't even finished healing yet, Caro, good grief. ...Because that's the problem with that particular train of thought. Uh huh. Caro isn't sure if she's read too many romance novels or not enough.
no subject
Date: 2013-07-27 07:35 am (UTC)He's not going to complain about her playing with his hair; instead he kisses her forehead and rests his face against it for a moment. It's been a long... three days. There is something seriously fucking wrong with him. Three days. Good lord. That reminds him, though. "What the fuck is Weyoun even doing out here?"
no subject
Date: 2013-07-27 07:54 am (UTC)"I have no idea. He said he wanted to get an early start on stuff for the Victory Tour, but uh," she laughs, "It's early for that, even for Weyoun."
Caro is just gonna keep playing with Walter's hair, thanks. And actually, since Walter's still leaning down, Caro stretches up a little and plants a kiss on his jaw. As pathetic as it makes her, she missed him a lot.

Date: 2013-07-27 08:23 am (UTC)It's right when he goes to say something else that someone knocks on the goddamn door. The frown just a moment before was faked but this one isn't - he knows exactly who that is. His goddamn timing is as much of a pain in the ass as it ever was.
"Well, fuck." Their moment's pretty much over but Walter's got to be a little shit first, so he leans down the rest of the way and kisses her. Weyoun can wait at the doorstep one minute longer.
no subject
Date: 2013-07-27 08:37 am (UTC)Yeah okay, she has no idea how, but she will definitely find some way of getting rid of Weyoun more often.

Date: 2013-07-27 08:50 am (UTC)When Walter opens the door Weyoun does at least look a little apologetic if completely unaware of what he might have interrupted. He glances back to Caro and grins, albeit briefly. "I'll see you later, sweetheart. Have fun."
Weyoun politely clears his throat. "Good afternoon, Mister Sullivan."
"Hi Weyoun, bye Weyoun," Is about all the acknowledgement he gets from Walter as the Victor pushes past him and out the door. Weyoun mostly just glances between the departing Victor and the one still there in the entryway. Well, that was a thing that happened.
no subject
Date: 2013-07-27 08:58 am (UTC)She clears her throat. And uh, oh, her hair might be a little messed up. Should she fix it, or...? No. That would look more suspicious.
"Hi Weyoun," is what she finally says. Nailed it.

Date: 2013-07-27 09:09 am (UTC)"Hello. I seem to have forgotten my infopad." Not even he can keep up the look of mild, wide-eyed confusion. He cracks a very mischievous sort of smile. "I do hope I wasn't interrupting anything."
no subject
Date: 2013-07-27 09:16 am (UTC)At the other comment, though, Caro raises an eyebrow. "I have no idea what you mean, Weyoun."
